Celsius 488.3? Moore of Same

Michael Moore's latest rant (a.k.a. "Fahrenheit 9/11") is due to hit movie theaters. Don't waste your time.

Slate.com is not exactly known to be an integral part of the 'extreme right-wing conspiracy'. This piece was written by a long time liberal.

Unfairenheit 9/11: The lies of Michael Moore.

Perhaps Mike should consider my title suggestion, since he has apparently ruffled Ray Bradbury's feathers, the author of the book titled 'Fahrenheit 451'. Bradbury called Moore 6 months ago to protest Moore's lifting the title and premise from his book, and Moore claims he 'forgot' to call Bradbury back ... until the movie was printed, in the can and ready to open, that is. Bradbury mentions in the article that he hopes he can avoid litigation, hoping to "shake hands and settle this as two gentlemen". Unfortunately, he's not dealing with a gentleman. I hope he sues his ass off.

'Fahrenheit 451' author challenges Moore

UPI: Analysis: 'Fahrenheit' ready for market

"After his film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Moore told reporters his main wish was that it would motivate people to vote in the Nov. 2 presidential election. However, he recently told the New York Times he hoped the picture would be known as the first big-audience, election-year film that helped unseat a president."

What a piece of work this guy is. Talk about delusions of grandeur. No Mike, you're not going to unseat a president. You're just a pebble in the pond. No one with above average intelligence will be swayed by your propaganda.

Whatever it Takes

Moore's distributor is not even too proud to take terrorist-affiliated help in spreading this piece of garbage into the Arab world. If this does not border on -- or embody -- a treasonous act, what does? As the new lefty watchdog site, MediaMatters.org opined:

"From the United States Constitution: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

Well I'd say anyone who openly tries to work with the enemy to try to undermine the President, and try to sway public opinion against U.S. policy in a time of war, is certainly "adhering to their [our] enemies" and is "giving them Aid and Comfort." The result will be to embolden the terrorists and cause even more soldiers to be killed.

Ok that's one "witness", can I see a show of hands for another?

WorldNetDaily: Moore film distributor OK with terror support June 22, 2004

Thank GOD the Motion Picture Association of America gave it an 'R' rating, despite his efforts to get it rated as PG-13.

'Fahrenheit 9/11' R rating appeal fails

One final addition. This from last year...
