To suggest that Americans are responsible for the land mines spread across the third world and to try to lay the guilt trip on us, that "we" need to do something about it (as if we weren't doing anything about it now) is absolutely outrageous.

According to this government site the U.S. is the Largest Financial Contributor to United Nations, to the tune of over $3 BILLION dollars in 2003. What a ridiculous boondoggle!

Now thanks to the U.N. the terrorist cells already in this country have a new idea to perform -- paid for with U.S. taxpayer dollars! Anyone associated with this commercial should be arrested and charged with treason.

Where are the libs who are constantly screeching about how the NASA budget and military spending, and even the cost of the White House Inaugural could be 'much better spent on the poor in this country.' I believe our $3 BILLION dollars could be much better spent in this country as well.
